1. Who these terms apply to
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Flock Family ("Flock," "we," "us"), including the web application at app.flockfamily.app and the marketing site at flockfamily.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you are creating an account on behalf of a family, you represent that you have authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of that household.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't share your password. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@flockfamily.app.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Flock is intended for personal, family use — not for resale or commercial scheduling services.
You may only create one account per person. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the service.
3. Your data
You own your data. The events, family members, and schedules you enter into Flock belong to you. We don't claim any ownership over your content.
By using Flock, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data for the sole purpose of operating the service — displaying your calendar, syncing events, and providing the features you've enabled. We do not use your data for any other purpose.

4. Multi-Flock and shared access
When you generate an invite code and share it with someone, you are choosing to give that person visibility into your flock's schedule. You are responsible for who you share invite codes with.
People who join your flock via an invite code can view your schedule as you've configured it. You can revoke their access at any time from your settings.
Do not share invite codes publicly or with people you don't intend to give calendar access to.
5. Acceptable use
Flock is a family calendar. Please use it as one. You agree not to:
- Use Flock for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to access other families' accounts or data without authorization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from Flock.
- Resell or sublicense access to Flock as a commercial service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
6. Service availability
We work hard to keep Flock available and reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, outages, or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally affect availability.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice. If we make a significant change that affects your use of the service, we'll let you know by email.
7. Pricing
Flock is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll give existing users advance notice and a clear explanation of what changes. We will never charge you without your explicit consent.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Flock is provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, about the service's fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or reliability. We are a small team building a tool for families — we do our best, but we can't guarantee perfection.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flock Family shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim related to Flock shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, if you're on the free plan, is zero).
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify you before doing so, unless the violation is severe.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the date at the top and notify account holders by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Flock after that point constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state where Flock Family is headquartered.
